MCELROY PARRIS TRIAL LAWYERS TEAM HOLDS FOCUS GROUP

Steve, Ashley and the MPTL team have been leading a series of focus groups in Santa Barbara to prepare for an upcoming jury trial in a tragic case about a man who was struck in the head by a golf club and suffered a traumatic brain injury.

Steve explained that the information we learn during these focus groups teaches us how to best present our client’s case to a jury.  This is an important tool that we use in our cases, particularly when there are complex issues like brain damage.

The case is expected to start trial in the next few months.  MPTL will keep you all posted.

MCELROY PARRIS TRIAL LAWYERS CELEBRATES FIRM’S ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Steve McElroy and Ashley Parris have been trying cases together since 2006.  During that time, they married, brought two children into the world, moved their lives and family to Ojai, California, and all the while continued to flourish as civil justice lawyers.  Although they maintained their own legal practices since their start, they continued to work together as trial lawyers through their involvement with the Special Ops Team, Trial Lawyers College, Trial by Human, Trial by Woman and Trial Lawyers for Justice.

On March 1, 2020, Steve and Ashley started their own firm and opened their offices in Ojai. They have a boutique trial practice that handles a selective number of serious injury cases. In the first year, McElroy Parris Trial Lawyers purchased a building in Ojai, grew the firm to four lawyers, two paralegals and four staff.  In the first year, MPTL managed to achieve verdicts and settlements of $50 million.
